The use of CBCT, intra-oral surfance scanning (digital impressions) and treatment planning software such as 3Shape's Implant Studio and Nobel Clinician is changing the way we treatment plan and ultimately provide dental implant treatment for our patients. It allows for safer and more accurate dental implant placement in a far less invasive manner and also facilitates more predictable prosthetic reconstruction of our implant cases.
Understandig the concept of a digital workflow is becoming more important for the profession as this area of dentistry continues to develop at an astounding rate, challanging our conventional beliefs and treatment methods. This course will serve as ann introduction to the use of digital tools to provide optimal dental implant treatment for our patients.
